Taking place at Newark Works, Bath on Thursday 26th November 2026, this is a rare opportunity to hear from a highly distinguished British military leader whose career has spanned frontline service, senior command, counter-terrorism and national security.
Chip Chapman served for 33 years in the British Army. He fought in the 1982 Falklands War as a platoon commander with 2 PARA, later becoming Commanding Officer of 2 PARA from 1999 to 2001.
His final decade of military service was mainly involved in counter-terrorism, concluding as Senior British Military Advisor to US Central Command in Tampa, Florida.
This is the kind of experience very few people can speak about first-hand.
A Speaker with Serious Authority
Since leaving the military, Chip has continued to be a respected voice on defence, terrorism, Ukraine, the Middle East and global security.
He is the author of Notes From A Small Military and also wrote The Chapman Review, a strategic analysis of police discipline in England and Wales which was laid before Parliament.
He is regularly seen and heard on TV and radio as an expert analyst, and is an Honorary Fellow of Exeter University Strategic Studies.
